The EFEWEE Team invites you to join the research webinar titled, “Women’s empowerment through access to modern energy: Evidence from India and Nepal”, on 27th December 2018 at 2:00 P.M. IST.

This webinar is organised as part of the international research project “Exploring Factors that Enhance and Restrict Women’s Empowerment through Electricity (EFEWEE) www.efewee.org”, under ENERGIA’s Gender and Energy Research Program, supported by DFID. The webinar is facilitated and hosted by The Energy and Resources Institute.

The objective of the webinar is to present and discuss the main findings from the 4 year research undertaken as part of this project, and to invite views from the wider research and practitioner community, to discuss how a more coherent and granular understanding of women’s empowerment within the realm of modern energy access could help governments, donors, NGOs and local communities make interventions more targeted and effective.
