Global and Regional Experiences of Electricity Utilities and Social/Gender Issues

As you may know, ESMAP has partnered with the World Bank’s Social Development team to develop a report on Gender and Electricity Infrastructure. The research is focusing on the linkages between gender and social issues on Electricity Infrastructure (Generation, Transmission and Distribution) through land and labor impacts. There is a need within this report, to have a better understanding of good practices and challenges within energy utilities, agencies and other public/private actors. This consultancy focuses on addressing this knowledge gap and the full TOR is attached below for this work.
