ENERGIA's Preparations for CSD-15

ENERGIA is pleased to announce that all CSD national workshops and reports at national level have been finalised at the end of 2006.

During 2006, ENERGIA network members have prepared 15 national workshops on the topic of Gender, Energy and the MDGs, as a means to boost discussions at national level and increase awareness of the existing links between sustainable development and the energy needs of women. Also, 19 national reports showcasing the different countries and their policy framework in relation to gender and energy have been produced, as well as 4 regional reports (Africa, Asia, Pacific, Latin America). The reports have been compiled into the publication 'Where Energy is Women's Business'.
