If you want to see all entries, then do not fill any of the form fields. It may take a while before the results will show, especially if you have a slow connection.
It is best to fill in only one word here. Use the most unique keyword from the title for the most relevant results.
It is best to fill in only one name (or part of a name) here. If the name consists of more than one word, type only the most unique word here.
If the name has foreign letters in it, it is better to search on a part of the name that does not have foreign characters. For example to search for information about 'Castro Nureņa', you would search either on the word 'Castro' or on 'Nure'.
By searching in this way you increase the chance of getting results because sometimes accents and foreign letters are not correctly inputted in databases. If more than one person wrote or edited the publication, just search on one of the names.
Type the keyword that you wish to search on. If you would like to search using multiple keywords, separate the keywords using a comma.
To see a list of keywords as they are used in the ENERGIA Bibliography, click here: keywords.pdf.
Recently ENERGIA started including, where relevant, country and region references for documents in the database. However, not all documents have got these references yet. That means that until the data update is complete, using this as a search criteria will limit your results substantially.
You can view or download a list of which countries belong to each geographical region here.
If you want only results that match ALL your search criteria, use the AND option (less search results).
If you want results that match ANY of your search criteria, use the OR option (more search results).
If you want to do a global search for one particular word, you can go to the 'simple search' page. This search engine will look in the Title, Author and Keyword fields for any word or part of a word that you search on.
