Chesha Wettasinha

Chesha Wettasinha joins ENERGIA after ten years with ETC, seven of which were in the Promoting Multi-functional Household Environments project in Sri Lanka. Chesha was responsible for planning, monitoring, documentation and publication. She also spent three years in ILEIA, Information Centre for Low External Input and Sustainable Agriculture as Managing Editor of the quarterly magazine, LEISA, and other in-house publications. Chesha has broad experience in rural development and natural resource management, and has been involved in activities ranging from capacity building to policy advocacy, writing and editing.

As the communications coordinator, Chesha will have the primary responsibility for ENERGIA News and the resource centre and will contribute to capacity building activities.
